The Lord Cares Reopens

DARLINGTON, SC- The Lord Cares in Darlington, which helps people with food and emergency supplies, has reopened after being briefly closed because of COVID-19 concerns.
The Lord Cares, at 201 Grove St., Darlington, 843-395-1001, will be seeing clients Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10-11:30 a.m. Because of the COVID-19 threat, only one client at a time will be admitted. All clients must wear a mask and their temperature will be taken before they are allowed to speak to an interviewer.

Darlington Restaurant Holds Chicken Bog Fundraiser for The Lord Cares Ministry

DARLINGTON, SC- Joe's Grill, located on 306 Russell St. did a chicken bog fundraiser on 05/18/2020 and the proceeds went to The Lord Cares Ministry of Darlington. We got one big truckload of canned food items to donate! This will be an annual fundraiser and expect a bigger turnout next year! Chicken Bog was done by the famous Joey Saleeby and assisted by Olivia Ridgill, Harriet Bonnoitt, Chelsi Anderson & Earl Ray. Our awesome volunteers Gayle & Mike BeckHam. This couldn't of happened without everyone that was involved and it was all for a good cause.
